When everyone says you can't fly, what do you do? You prove them wrong.
Meet Ibra, an ostrich with an impossible dream and the determination to match. While other ostriches mock his attempts to soar through the sky, Ibra keeps building wings from old rags, climbing higher, and falling harder. Even his sister Judi calls him "Flaphead" (though she secretly packs snacks for his crash landings).
But when the villainous Abdul and his gang threaten everything Ibra loves, this plucky ostrich must do the impossible, he must fly. Not just for himself, but for his family, his farm, and the memory of someone special.
With laugh-out-loud moments featuring Gary the panicky Yak-Goat, Peaches the sarcastic parrot, and Moozart the wise cow, this rhyming adventure proves that: Being different is your superpower. Dreams don't have size limits. Sometimes the smallest believers achieve the biggest miracles.
Perfect for:
Children ages 4-12 who love animal adventures Bedtime read-alouds with memorable rhymes Kids facing bullies or feeling different Anyone who needs reminder that impossible is just an opinion "So if you feel odd, or weird in your way... Just spread out your wings and take flight anyway."
