When Aimee Kintzel received the unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer, she chose not to spiral-but to smile. Open in the Front is a refreshingly raw and unfiltered memoir chronicling Aimee's journey through diagnosis, surgery, and healing, all told with biting wit, brutal honesty, and unwavering optimism.
With a voice as bold as her determination, Aimee walks readers through mammograms, biopsies, and body-altering surgeries-all while juggling marriage, motherhood, and her signature sass. From nervous laughter in exam rooms to tear-filled confessions in late-night kitchens, this is not just a cancer story. It's a story about reclaiming your power, keeping your humor intact, and choosing joy even when life hands you pain.
Part memoir, part survival guide, Open in the Front offers an empowering look at how laughter, love, and an unshakable support system can carry you through even the darkest moments-boobs or no boobs.
