A joyful ode to the special bond between fathers and their daughters from acclaimed creators Shelly Becker and Dan Yaccarino
One, two, Daddy loves you.
Three, four, throat feels sore.
Five, six, soothing sips.
Seven, eight, best play mate.
A young girl and her artist father make the best of a sick day (with an impromptu puppet show, a cupcake-making session, and lots of art supplies) in this heartfelt, rhyming picture book from acclaimed creators Shelly Becker and Dan Yaccarino. Shelly Becker is the author of One, Two, Grandma Loves You and One, Two, Grandpa Loves You, both of which received starred reviews from School Library Journal. Her other books include ABCs for a Peaceful Me: A Mindfulness Seek-and-Find Book and the Superheroes Are Just Like Us series. Kirkus Reviews called Even Superheroes Have Bad Days "an action-packed romp," and it was a 2018 Blue Spruce Award nominee. Like the main character in One, Two, Daddy Loves You, Becker knows the company of a loved one can be the very best medicine. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
