One Small Voice A Collection of Articles on Ageism and the Value of Older Women We are all women who matter, no matter what our age! Marcia Barhydt is a dedicated advocate for older women. Her newest released book, One Small Voice is a collection of Marcia's articles about ageism at work, in advertising, at your favorite department store, in Hollywood, even in our own minds and in our own bedrooms. Ageism is rampant and we need to turn this around and celebrate aging and recognize what our life experiences and wisdom can bring to the table. Marcia champions about the value of older women and she shares this passion with the many groups she speaks to. "I speak to women's groups about how incredibly wonderful this stage of my life is. I want all women to know how wise and capable we are. I had no idea of how much I was capable of doing". Marcia is the author of two books: Celebrate Age and her newly released book One Small Voice., and also writes for numerous on-line publications. She lives in Brampton and is the proud mother of 2 grown daughters, Heather and Allison, and the even prouder grandmother of her 3 "perfect granddaughters". "If We Each Put Our Small Voices Together, We Can Make a Roar Heard Around the World!"
