Although minor in size, our little ones bring major love and happiness into our lives. This precious love letter from a mother to her child positively affirms her baby's unique purpose and major importance in the world. A heart-warming picture book about a child discovering his self-worth...and how valued he feels by his family as his mother speaks life and love along his journey to self-actualization.
A tiny thing, Major is a very special little baby and there is nothing minor about him at all. His mother is not quite sure he knows just how truly special he is - how could he not know when he entered the world on a MAJOR day of love: Valentine's Day? So, his momma makes sure he knows, and that he never forgets, just how truly loved he is by his entire family and how that love will sustain him throughout his life's journey.
Kimberly Adams brings a mother's love and lots of joy to a very important message about building self-esteem early in our children's lives. This picture book is an excellent case study in the benefits of families speaking positive affirmations over their little ones. It also demonstrates to children how loving yourself inspires confidence, strength, and inner joy. Beautifully illustrated with love by Glaze, the main character's maternal cousin, this gift of poetic affirmations is perfect for any child and all those who desire for them to be anchored in a positive self-image.
