About
Dancers perform on stage. They spend a lot of time practicing their dance moves. Then they dance in front of an audience. Beginning readers hone their phonics skills while learning all about performing on stage. As readers practice decoding words with soft c and soft g, they gain nonfiction knowledge. Every “Stairway Decodables” nonfiction book combines multiple aspects of the Science of Reading to support small group instruction, independent reading, and reading practice at home.
