Ocean Explorer

Head to the depths of our oceans and spot over 150 incredible sea creatures in this search-and-find book by marine biologist Carlee Jackson.

There are millions of creatures hiding in the depths of our oceans! In this beautiful search-and-find book, kids will snorkel around a coral reef, swim along a mangrove, and explore a shipwreck as they have fun for hours searching for sea creatures.

Vibrant illustrations by Hannah Abbo make for beautiful underwater scenes. As kids pore over the details, they'll dive deeper and deeper within our oceans and discover habitats from around the world.

Will they be able to spot the sea turtle hatchlings making a dash for the sea? Or the nurse shark having a snooze in the coral reef? How about the narwhals peeking through ice in the Arctic? Kids will also learn that epaulette sharks can "walk", how a rainbow sea slug defends itself against predators, and why honeycomb eels have two sets of jaws!

In this beautifully illustrated book kids will discover the diversity and richness of Earth's oceans. A beautifully illustrated search-and-find book about underwater habitats and the animals that live there, written by a marine biologist.
Carlee Jackson read her first book about marine animals at the age of six and fell in love. Today, she is a marine biologist, environmental educator, and science communicator. Carlee is co-founder and Director of Communications for Minorities in Shark Sciences (MISS), an organization promoting diversity and inclusivity in shark sciences. She is passionate about marine biology and loves everything about the ocean! Carlee previously wrote Sharks (A Day in the Life) and Green Sea Turtle (Young Zoologist) for Neon Squid.

Hannah Abbo is a self-taught illustrator from the UK, currently living and working in Lisbon, Portugal. She lives with her partner and child, and their (slightly) overweight cat. When she's not drawing she loves making ceramics in a local studio, visiting the botanical gardens and baking bread.
