The four short stories in this book revisit the characters of the Morningstar Series in a new way. Learn how the Collector recruited one of the sacred priests of the Akai, meet a remarkable boy who undertakes a daring and dangerous rescue mission aided by Kusini's magic, follow Amaoke as he tracks a cannibalistic madman, and join Weston for an exorcism with a twist. LJ Farrow's metahuman protagonists from north, south, east, and west return to give the reader more background on their adventures. This small book of short stories is a bridge between the four original novels and the morningstar, the fifth and final book of the series.
