Now What? is a serious but informal essay on the twin facts of human freedom and human equality. Michael Lydon, a musician and writer who lives in New York, writes that all humans are equal because no one knows the future, and that we are free if we can do anything, however small, to make a better future for ourselves. Now What? is a book for anyone who feels that people of every race and color around the world are free and equal beings.
