Many moms feel the pressure and guilt that comes from chasing perfection. The drive for perfection has a significant negative effect on the relationships moms are trying to nurture in their homes. Amy Rienow offers encouragement and empowerment to build healthy relationships and feel joy. She writes like a friend reminding moms to embrace each day to make a real heart-connection with their children. Amy's experience as a counselor and a mother of seven shines through with honest and practical parenting advice from a biblical perspective. Each chapter ends with a Mom Mission statement that guides the readers to a solid action plan to choose new thoughts on parenting and let go of old mind-sets. The ultimate goal is a renewed joy in being a mom.
