Meet the real Ivy who inspired this story. She was born at Christmastime and has been the best gift we could have ever wished to receive. When she isn't grumbling to be let outside to watch her bird and squirrel friends play, she is lounging somewhere close to an air vent. Without her, this story wouldn't exist. In honor of her, a portion of the proceeds of this book are being donated to a local no-kill shelter.
