Avery served twelve years in the Army National Guard and is a decorated Veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a former Corrections officer who works in Law Enforcement, serving nearly three decades combined. Mark has been married to the same amazing woman for over thirty years, and they have five wonderful children. He currently resides in South Carolina.
