A next-generation baby name book by a professional name consultant, full of activities, advice, and inspiration
The first decision you make as a parent is what to name your child, and these days, there's more pressure than ever to get it right. How do you choose a name that's trendy but timeless, classic but unique, popular but not too popular-a name that satisfies everyone in your family, looks great in a social media announcement, and sets your child up for success in life? Old-fashioned, dictionary-style baby name books can help with inspiration, but today's parents need something more.
Written by professional baby name consultant and TikTok star Colleen Slagen, Naming Bebe walks you through naming your baby step by step, considering style, popularity, and more. Inside you'll find:
• Interactive quizzes and activities to help you explore and refine your options
• In-depth analysis of name rankings and popularity data
• Solutions to common challenges like choosing complementary sibling names and dealing with the friend who stole your favorite name
• And, yes, lists of potential names, organized by aesthetic to help you pinpoint a name that matches your personal style, from Bible chic to quiet luxury
Whether you want a vintage darling, a modern cowboy, or anything in between, this comprehensive and interactive guide will help you pick a name you-and your child-love.
