There was a train trestle bridge back towards Abilene where the Southern Railway Company railroad crossed over CatClawCreek. After that it was all flat rails going west as far as Sweetwater. Bewildering that it might be, not a train all day then within a span of 10 minutes comes a whistle for westbound, then another call for eastbound. How did they cross each other?
