About

What did you do for the last two-plus years?I spent them alone in my apartment with no physical contact with family or friends. My only contacts were by text, phone calls, and e-mails.I needed something to help pass the time, so I did prompt writing with my writers' group several times a month by e-mail. We would agree on either a 20-minute or 30-minute time limit. One assigned person would set a timer and notify us by e-mail when the time was up. We would then e-mail our writing to her, and she would combine them into a single word file and send it out to all the group by e-mail.Due to the need to be isolated from others, writing took away some of the loneliness that occurred. My book is a compilation of those stories from that time for you to enjoy. Some prompt stories even ended up with a book being published and several more in the works. How long it will take everyone to return to what is considered 'normal' is anyone's guess.
