About
Jared Pierce never wanted to go to the moon. After a twenty-year career with NCIS, he thought he would become a small-town cop. But Sequent Mining recruited his wife, Karen, with her PhD in Geology. And to entice her, they offered him "an obscene" salary to become chief of Lunar Enforcement. The worst thing any of his officers deals with is a drunken brawl. Then an unattended death turns out to be murder.
