Renee and Nick are in the thick of their first year of parenthood... Renee is struggling to get to grips with having a totally dependent newborn, so decides to turn to a Facebook group of new mums for support. She finds a safe space for questions and confessions, but all Nick can see is how easily she seems to be adapting to parenthood and he starts to spend more and more time at the gym, the pressure to provide for his new family threatening to swallow him. As Renee gradually comes to terms with her postpartum depression and her daughter reaches the age where she can finally have a two-minute baby-free shower, the question remains: will her marriage survive the storm? Mummy Needs Help is an unmissable tragicomedy about the hardships and hysterics of parenthood, perfect for fans of Gill Simms and Suzy K Quinn.
