Not all monsters are scary. Some of them sneeze bubbles.
When Charlotte and Chase hear something under their bunk bed, they expect dust or a missing toy, definitely not a monster. But that is exactly what they find. Morton is enormous, fluffy, and very real. Every time he sneezes, the room fills with shimmering, impossible-to-explain bubbles.
Keeping a monster secret should be simple. But nothing stays simple when your monster has terrible timing and a sneeze that refuses to stay contained.
As the bubbles keep coming and the secret becomes harder to manage, Charlotte and Chase begin to wonder where Morton came from, and whether he belongs somewhere else entirely.
Morton is not just a surprise hiding under the bed. He may be the beginning of something much bigger.
Warm, funny, and full of imagination, Morton the Monster Under the Bed is the first book in a charming early chapter book series about friendship, curiosity, and the unexpected magic hidden in ordinary places.
