Enter a world where supernatural beings are normal...I'm Ali Welson, the most normal, goody-two-shoes girl you'll meet. It's how I survive a strict home, far from the mysterious Dark Corruption that converts people into vampires, werewolves, goblins, witches, and other creatures of the night on contact. But after a close call, Monstreuse, the monster academy, sends an obnoxious sorcerer to claim an unwilling new student: me. It's a mistake, I swear! I never touched the dark force as much as Byron insists otherwise. But when my family disowns me, I have no choice but to go.Thrust into a new, forbidden world, I'm sure I won't survive my classes, my classmates, or my new rival. But even that pales in comparison to the biggest horror of all. I might be the least normal Monstreuse student in history, and my family is right to fear me.Why else would someone be trying to do me in?
