By sharing their poetic inclinations, a world that pursues compassion and understanding can begin to take motion. Through this journey, the reader can fi nd themselves immersed in the familiarity of perception and resilience. Within this repertoire, Higgins expels experiences of the vast variety of mental health forms, while aiming to provide commonality for the schizophrenic experience. From early onset psychosis to bereavement, she has elaborated through artistic expression that healing is possible and everyone's story should be shared.
