Sometimes the best gifts aren't wrapped-they're written. In a quiet coastal town, aspiring novelist Caya Blaine has spent years helping everyone else reach their dreams while ignoring her own. When she hires Jude Wintersley, a gifted but disillusioned British editor, their collaboration begins as a work-for-hire…and becomes something far deeper.Through late-night messages and shared chapters, they help each other rediscover what it means to dream again. Caya learns to stop dimming her light for others to shine at her expense. Jude learns to stop hiding from his own. When they finally meet at Christmastime, both must decide if the story they've written together can survive real life beyond the page.Heartfelt, hopeful, and brimming with quiet holiday magic, Mistletoe Messages is a transatlantic love story about courage, second chances, and the beautiful mess of becoming who you were meant to be. Mitchell writes in multigenres including romance, literary fiction, historical fiction, chic lit, and contemporary fiction.
