Misadventure

All Gemma wanted was a fresh start: a new home in the countryside, a new job with the local newspaper, and a chance to leave the past behind. Then a body falls out of the sky. As Gemma investigates the victim's life, she discovers that her picturesque new home hides more than a few secrets. Yet among the gossip, rumours and unanswered questions, she also finds a colourful community eager to welcome her into the fold. When a second death rocks the town, what first appeared to be a tragic accident begins to look far more sinister.
