"Mellie: What Kindness Can Do" is about a child with Mutism named Mellie. It tells the story of Mellie's troubles as a kid who can't speak and how he feels different from the rest. Then, to make matters worse, he goes through a bad day! This rhyming picture book teaches children about how being friendly and kind to others can make a change in anyone's bad day, including Mellie's!
