Her life has been a series of embarrassing failures. This is probably her next one. Alison Taylor is famous for one meme-worthy moment in history, one she'd give anything to forget. But it's time to stop hiding, and unfortunately, that means being there for her best friend Mandy while she finds love on Matchmaker for Hire, a reality dating show. Her friend is in way over her head, especially when the show's host is the attractive and dangerous Dale Foz, a former gossip hunter, turned love guru. Alison plans to watch him like a hawk and keep her friend from getting hurt.Except watching Dale means spending time with him, and sparring with him, and liking it. Alison's life is finally safe and comfortable again. She's invisible and he's not. The timing, the guy, and the place are all wrong, but what if her heart finally has it all right? Rachel John lives in Arizona with her husband and four kids. She writes romcom and contemporary romance of the tame variety - but with lots of swoon and snark. Besides hanging out with the characters in her head, she likes to jam out to music that annoys her kids, read romance books, occasionally go running as part of her zombie apocalypse prepping, and work on family history. She has a fairly useless English Literature degree from Arizona State University, but learned the most about writing and craft from the awesome writer community online. Rachel is most active on Instagram with the handle @racheljohnwrites. Come say hi!
