Life. Career. From a God's eye view, these are one and the same. Does God only care about what you do from 9 to 5? What title you have? What you do at home? What you do with your friends? What you do at Church? Which parts matter to Him, and which parts don't? When we know God of the Bible, we easily understand that it all matters to Him. The career God planned for you could never just involve what you get paid to do. Sometimes your most important work happens between shifts, after you've left the office, or even when you're home alone.
When building a "Christ-centered" career, you do just that. You start with Christ at the center and conceptually build everything else in your life around Him. Everything finds its proper place when you see it from the perspective of how it serves God and His plan for the world. What you do to pay the bills, what you do to rest and recharge, what you do to help more people know who God is and grow closer to Him, it's all supposed to revolve around Him and reflect who He truly made you to be. That way, you're not just doing some good works; you're doing your good works. The ones planned for you long ago and the ones you were masterfully designed to accomplish. Imagine if this was not only true of you but every Christian in the world. What if all of us were faithfully engaged in our own unique and God-given purposes and good works? It would change everything. Let this book guide you to that reality, and then spread the word: Finding God's will for your life isn't only possible. It's easier than you think!
