A woman in hiding. A telepath who sees deeper than her scars. Can they forge a bond stronger than the obsession stalking them before time runs out? Asking for his help will expose more than her heart… Meli Dwyer's well-ordered life followed a clear-cut path, until the death of her beloved brother throws it off course. Grappling with her grief, her world is thrown deeper into chaos by a series of unexplained events, each one marked by an escalating violence. Alone and floundering in a harsh new reality, she reaches out for help from the sexy and mysterious warrior who managed to sneak under her guard, Wolf. But some risks are worth taking… When Wolf receives a call for help from the elusive and alluring Meli, the PSY-IV Team's lethally skilled telepath doesn't waste time racing to her side. It's an unexpected opportunity to not only set siege to her wary heart but indulge his curiosity on why she's the one woman he can't read. Before he can breach the scars of her painful past, Wolf's drawn into a dangerous game with an enemy whose obsessions blur the line between justice and revenge. As the stakes rise, Meli must face her personal nightmare and the monster behind it, even if it costs her the man determined to protect her battered heart.
