For over fifteen years, Louise Gilbert has partnered with Australia's leading organisations to guide teams and inspire leaders to embrace growth and change. She has now brought together the lessons from this work, and captured the essence of what all leaders and teams want to know. Make Work Work for You unpacks twenty-seven leadership practices to foster performance, growth and wellbeing for individuals, teams and organisations. • Are your people stressed and on the verge of burnout? • Do you have trouble attracting, retaining and developing the right people? • Do your teams struggle to work well together, especially in the hybrid work scenario? • Is there more work than your teams can handle? • Do your people feel disconnected from work and each other? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, this book is for you. Louise's model of business excellence is based on the right combinations of performance, growth and wellbeing. Most people think there's a trade-off, that you can't have wellbeing if you also want growth and performance. Louise proves this wrong. When you have two but not the other, there are consequences: unrealised potential, unsustainable ways of working and underdeveloped people. The secret is to press all three 'pedals' and make the right 'moves' at the right time to create excellence. This book supports leaders so they're less smashed, less stressed and able to lead better lives while achieving big business improvements and outcomes. Whether you're a seasoned executive or an aspiring leader, Make Work Work for You equips you with the tools to thrive in the modern workplace and make work truly work for you.
