Made with Love was written from real moments, real challenges, and a kind of love that continues to grow every day. As Abby's parents, we have learned that love is not always understood-or expressed-the same way. As Abby's father and the author of this series, it would be incomplete not to acknowledge Abigail's mother-especially when writing about love. Because of Abby's journey with autism, we have often taken extraordinary steps to show her how deeply she is loved, while helping her build confidence and self-worth along the way. This has never been done alone. Mommy has been the steady, nurturing foundation in Abby's life, giving endlessly of her time, energy, and heart. Together-with the constant love and support of Grandma and Grandpa-we continue to guide Abby as she grows and changes. There are moments when love may not come back in the ways we expect. But when Abby shows her love, it is something truly special-pure, powerful, and overwhelming in the most beautiful way. These stories are more than just books. They are tools to help Abby understand love-and to remind us how to show it better every day. Because love isn't just something we say. It's something we do. "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." - 1 John 3:18
