Marjorie Foley has retired from nursing, but what has she retired to? Her daughter, Lena Foley, encourages her to discover new hobbies to fill her day to day life with vibrance - so Marjorie turns to pottery and painting and finally lucid dreaming to fill her time. But what Lena and Marjorie least expect is for Marjorie's new hobbies to turn into a waking nightmare.
IN THIS TERRIFYING TALE OF REALITY VERSUS FANTASY, Marjorie wrestles with her imagination and whether she is right to feel denial, or guilt, over the repugnant actions, which she may or may not have taken.
Lucid is Leigh Maris' first THRILLER tinged short story.
