This is the incredible true story with only some names changed of Derek Lubeck, a reasonable and decent man who, through no fault of his own, finds himself targeted by a ruthless criminal network. From drug dealers and bikers to junkies, Middle Eastern gangs, mafia types, various creeps and deadbeats, and even possibly corrupt police, Derek faces relentless pursuit from every direction.
The story documents his struggle to cope with and survive the stalking, threats, harassment, set ups, shootings, poisonings, and many other hostilities aimed at destroying his life. Yet, with some unexpected help, Derek miraculously emerges from this ordeal, somewhat scarred but ultimately victorious.
An enthralling read, with strange and surprising twists in nearly every chapter.
