About
David Durksen faces the death of a loved one, a difficult step-parent, and a nearly impossible dream of going to high school and teacher's training. Will David overcome difficulties with resilience or falter through tragedy and hard times? Love Covers is based on the childhood of the author's maternal grandfather, who lived in Russia during the early 1900s. Information from the family archives was used to help create this moving tale. This is Book #1 in the "Russian Mennonite Boy" series.
