Lotus is a compilation of all the poems which Tammy Samuel wrote through her childhood. She wrote these poems at particular stages of her life and finally decided to pass them on for everyone to see and enjoy. There are a variety of poems based on different subjects such as happiness and remembrance. Her most prized poems are the ones based on her mum and dad. She feels that these two poems are close to her heart because they are two figures in her life that helped her and guided her through everything. This book is dedicated to her parents.
