A friends-to-lovers Hollywood romance about the power of being seen. Sacha Lebedev came to Los Angeles to be a star, but the role of a lifetime meant hiding in plain sight. Twelve years on, his mentor, co-conspirator, and almost-lover was dying. Sacha was going to miss Jerry in every possible way. He desperately needed a friend, someone he could trust with his incredible secret. Then he met Charlotte Montgomery, the photographer at a fundraiser. Charlie met the producer's companion, thought she'd be a great model, then wondered if she could believe what she was seeing. Not too much later, she met the massage guy, the one escorting the rich old lady at another fundraiser, and this time there was no doubt. Sacha told her a few things. They saw each other a few times. She knew he was facing a terrible few months. And then he went silent. Charlie knew why Sacha wasn't writing or calling. She hoped that someday, he'd be ready to take on the world as the amazing person he really was. When he finally answered her message, they decided to take on the world together. Adult situations, themes, and language; 91,800 words and a happy ending.
