About

The Faces of Morpheus is a reflection on central concepts of non-fiction cinema, such as "image", "reality", "fiction", "objectivity", "subjectivity", among others. The book therefore proposes a semiotic concept to understand the genre while, from a philosophical perspective, it establishes connections between fiction and non-fiction cinema, characterizing the iconic features and the effects on the interpretation of reality on which the image works.
