About
Let Purnesh guide you on your personal journey towards finding the root cause of your anxiety, stress and restlessness, using meditation to collect distracted thoughts, soothe the senses and refocus your energy to being present in the moment.
We are witnessing a world that is changing so rapidly, it's almost impossible to find a moment of stillness: the current of anxiety caused by global events, coupled with the stresses of everyday life, make it increasingly difficult to find a sense of stability. The ramifications of these events affect our health, productivity and, most importantly, leave a lasting impact on our inner peace. Looking Inward will help the reader to understand their own mind, be better equipped to transcend difficulties and to access the true source of peace, happiness and support from within.
Blending wisdom, anecdotes and practical interactive exercises, Purnesh takes the reader on a step-by-step journey towards inner peace and happiness. Purnesh is an author, speaker, and spiritual guide to many around the world. He is a sought-after teacher of yoga, meditation and mantras, and an enthralling storyteller. Purnesh was born in the Netherlands to a Dutch father and an Indian mother, who played a central role in kindling in him a keen interest in the spiritual practices, cultures and philosophies of the East. The defining moment in his life came at the age of sixteen, when he met Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of the Art of Living, in whom he recognized his spiritual Master.
After completing his university studies, he left the
Netherlands and moved to India to master the Vedic knowledge, rituals and recitation of mantras and Vedic hymns. Purnesh is the name given to him by his Master, as an acknowledgement of his high state of consciousness and commitment to dedicating his life to serving others.
Having spent over ten years living the life of a monk in India, Purnesh has become a unique bridge between the East and the West. After traveling and sharing the knowledge in over 30 countries, he returned to the Netherlands. There
he now lives a simple ordinary life. Complementing each other, he now makes this ancient wisdom freely available with his dear friend Rowena, who shares the same love for the Vedic knowledge, meditation and service, through their initiative 'Just Be'. A beautiful and timely guide to finding inner peace by yogi and meditation coach Swami Purnachaitanya. The last eighteen months have seen the global changes unlike anything that's come before. More than ever, people are looking for ways to find peace within themselves and to make sense of the chaotic world around them. As a highly respected spiritual guide and meditation teacher, Swami Purnachaitanya is perfectly placed as the expert voice to write this book. His writing style is warm and relatable. Looking Inward has been sold in countless territories around the world. Swami will be making a trip to Europe around the time of publication to promote his book.
