Jessie and Ki take on a wild downtown stampede-and the Devil himself!
He called himself a man of God. But he was the emissary of the devil. What was Prince Klaus von Stumpf of Bavaria doing in Kansas City? And what was his priest-secretary, Father Paletta, doing with Jason Weatherby, the banker who held the town in fear? Jessie and Kir realize something is wrong the moment they meet Weatherby.
When the stockyard is destroyed and Starbuck cattle break loose in a wild stampede, they know they're up against desperate men. And when the hand of the cartel stretches all the way from Europe to trap Ki, it's too late. Now only Jessie can get him out...
