Teaching children how to play guitar can be a truly joyful and highly rewarding experience yet many teachers avoid taking on younger students because they are inexperienced with how to effectively teach children. The truth is that if we try to teach children the same way, and to the same standard as we do with our adults students then we are setting them up for failure. However, If we redefine our definition of success and work towards what is achievable for the stage of cognitive and physical development that young learners find themselves at, we can achieve some truly magical results.
Little Ninjas is a special version of the Guitar Ninjas curriculum adapted for young learners. it helps students aged 5-8 years old build a solid foundation in the 7 Key Areas of Guitar Playing through structured yet flexible learning procedures and a gamified approach that will make every lesson fun and engaging so that junior guitar players will love their lessons and keep on learning for years.
Little combines the psychology of learning, sports science, the discipline of martial arts and the gamification found in video games into the ultimate method for learning guitar. Students will progress through 10 levels of Guitar Player from White Belt Beginners to Black Belt Level Guitar Ninjas Masters. Students can order accompanying coloured Guitar Ninjas Belts (guitar straps) and certificates every time they level up.
