Hundreds of millions of global businesspeople use LinkedIn® daily as a power tool to forge connections, nurture relationships, assess business colleagues, and select professionals to rely on. After 11 years coaching and training professional practitioners--attorneys, consultants, CPAs, insurance producers, financial planners, and multi- and entrepreneurs; in fact, anyone offering services--author Marc W. Halpert revised the earlier edition of this field reference guide, its principles now even more time-tested.
Here's what this book does differently than others on the market:
• It does not tell you what to do and where to click, with bland directions that go stale due to a change in LinkedIn®; rather,
• It offers long-term, practical, anecdotal marketing techniques that work: how and why to make all LinkedIn® sections work cohesively, based on the author's consulting experience with professionals in all fields.
• In this second edition, he includes three guest chapters: staying aligned with ever-changing legal ethics guidelines, what attracts a recruiter to a professional practitioner's LinkedIn® profile, and how to use LinkedIn® as an integral part of any professional firm's marketing and branding strategy. In addition, the second edition answers the needs voiced by so many professionals, with brand-new resource material on emotional intelligence and the Japanese concept of Ikigai to enhance the LinkedIn® experience.
The book you are holding can lead you to express why you do what you do and look "amazing-er" than competitors, showcasing your brand on LinkedIn®.
An attorney emailed, "This book gave me all the tools I needed to perfect my profile and be ready to get clients. . . .Working alongside your book is actually fun."
A consultant to entrepreneurs commented, "Finished in a day. Took copious notes. I have no doubt the tips and strategies in this book will enrich my online presence for years to come!"
