Dorothy and her new partner, Paul Webster, are about to embark on their first official business venture. A conference in New York City, attended by other private investigators. But a brutal murder derails those plans. She is thrown head first into the hardest case of her career. Despite unfounded police accusations against her character, and emotional involvement, she and her team race the clock to find the murderer.
