Throughout my life journey, I have a lot of things to be thankful for. The many blessings that i have received from the God of my understanding has enabled me to put some of my thoughts in writing. This writing allowed me the avenues to create Life and Things.
Life and Things comes from the gospels, history, rap, poetry, literature, religion and some things that my memory has forgotten about. It also shows me that through God, all things are possible. I never knew that I would see a Black man as our President- thank you President Obama. I never thought that I would have to fight for sobriety after fighting in the Vietnam War. Sometime to crawl after i learned to walk, sometimes to cry after a spell of laughter. I pray that whoever has the opportunity to read about my life, and to reflect on their lives. It will give us hope, strength and courage to tackle some of our weaknesses in our lives.
