Letters From the Front Porch

My husband and I have been in the ministry for many years, serving as lead pastors of ClairMel Assembly of God in Tampa, Florida, for 43 years starting in 1981. During that time, I was encouraged by a friend to write devotions for our women's ministry, I discovered my passion for storytelling. Rather than traditional lessons, I began sharing the many stories from our lives--as pastors, ranchers, and parents to two sons who both went on to play professional baseball.
When you live a life like ours, there is always something to write about. At the encouragement of many friends, I finally decided to have these stories published. I hope these true, often "crazy" stories from our life and ministry provide a blessing and encouragement to every reader.
