Leap Into History: John Dillinger in Delaware County, Indiana is the true story of John H. Dillinger. Dillinger was born in Mooresville, Indiana. After a foolish robbery as a youth, Dillinger was arrested and given a harsh sentence for the crime. While incarcerated in the Indiana State Prison, Dillinger learned the skill of bank robbery. Following his parole, John H. Dillinger blazed a path through the mid-west. The path went through the heart of Delaware County, Indiana with the robberies of the Bide-A-Wee Inn, and the Commercial Bank of Daleville.
