• Born in the cosmopolitan city of Mumbai, Kavita Chatterjee Das is a 4th generation educator who adores her "kids" and nature as much as she loves teaching. She was the Principal of the famous St John's High School in Chandigarh, North India, for 16 years and took her school to the No.1 position in the country, where it remained till her retirement. Married to a former Merchan Naval captain, she has travelled the world by ship and now thoroughly enjoys going up to their apple orchard in the Himalayas. Reading has always been a passion with her and she claims it is her sense of humour that has helped her sail through life.
