Sometimes, you have to risk it all for love. Bree Rollings is a woman who knows what she wants.Raised in foster homes and on the street, Bree put herself through college, earned a psych degree, and opted for a career as a bartender. She's smart, feisty, and highly social. At 32, she recently moved to Mountain Valley and took a job at Cagney's Restaurant after a bad breakup. Bree likes daddy types: straightlaced, well-off men who can take care of her, but the relationships never last. Dave Winter is a free spirit who marches to the beat of his own drum.Dave Winter, 34, runs the local record store in Mountain Valley. He grew up in the city but moved up north in his early twenties, buying the shop after doing a stint on the ski patrol job after college. He's laid back, unkempt, and has little interest in material goods. He's the exact opposite of Bree's type. And then Cupid's arrow hits. The moment Dave meets Bree, he's smitten. She has zero interest in him beyond friendship, despite the unsettling chemistry brewing between them. But the more time they spend together, the more she realizes what Dave's known all along…they're perfect for each other. Opposites might attract, but is that enough to keep them together? Last Call is the fifth novel in a series of stand-alone steamy contemporary romance stories based in Mountain Valley.
