La Fuga

La Fuga is the third story in the Venetian Trilogy, which commenced with 'Il Complotto' and was followed by 'Il Segreto'. It goes back in time before the first two stories commenced and explains how and why Gianna left Venice as a young woman to live in London. You find out just what kind of man her father Marco, a shadowy figure in the 'Il Complotto', was in his early years and the trauma that Gianna suffered that led to the escape (La Fuga) from her life in Venice. When settled in London Gianna becomes part of the swinging sixties in-crowd and comes into contact with the activities of the notorious gangs of the era. She realizes too late that her life is out of control and the story ends at the point that 'Il Complotto', the first book in the trilogy commences.
