Knowing and acting

Knowing and Acting is an inaugural lecture delivered before the University of Oxford, 26 November, 1910 by John Alexander Smith, a British idealist philosopher. In the speech, he expresses the unease about the combination of "moral" and "metaphysical" in the work of a professor.
