About

Flora has the looks, the style, and the charm, but is beginning to fear that beauty is her only asset.

She knows what she hates, it's an easy list: economy class, second-hand clothes, and budget. Her passions are just as clear to her: fashion, dating, not being on time, and getting what she wants. It isn't until she meets Sean, who appears like the fairytale clock striking midnight, that she finds all of her magic power wearing off.

He is as mature and sophisticated as the dark roasted coffee he drinks, while she is like a lollipop: colorful, dazzling on the outside but empty calories and artificial sweeteners on the inside.

The attraction is instant, but they soon realize that sharing a kiss is only the first step. Each tries their hardest to impress the other, but a misunderstanding quickly drives them apart. Coming from two different worlds, Flora and Sean must overcome the things that stand in their way of love, including a violinist, a broken knee, a history project, a surprise, and a heartbreak operation.

Kissing is the Easy Part is a coming-of-age story that teaches a young couple to appreciate their differences, to realize that there are always two sides to every story. Thrown into the boiling cauldron of teen years, they explore love, jealousy, and rivalry, and learn to trust and accept one another.
