Bruno Fischer was born in Germany in 1908, and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1913. Two of his most famous novels are The Restless Hands and The Evil Days. His plots revolve around the common man, who is put into a situation where his morals are put to the test. Fischer was also one of the early members of Mystery Writers of America.
