Kid Kitchen empowers children to cook their favorite foods their own way and all on their own, fostering independence, confidence and a lifetime of healthy eating habits! As a mom, food blogger and kids cooking class instructor, Heather Staller is experienced in guiding children of all ages through the joys of learning to cook. In this book she shares creative ways to make the foods they love using wholesome, nutritious ingredients. Heather also provides tips and ideas to set kids up for success in the kitchen, including tutorials for safely using knives, the stove, the oven and more.
Kids will love making their own 5-minute snacks and sweets after school, such as Rainbow Fruit Skewers with The Best Yogurt Dip, The Ultimate Pizza Grilled Cheese and Extreme Chocolate Brownie Bites. For special weekend breakfasts and family meals, they will have a blast customizing their own Giant Baked Pancake Your Way, All Star Burger Bites with Toppings Bar and Easy-Peasy Cheesy Deep Dish Mini Pizzas. This collection of creative, simple recipes equips kids with the knowledge and encouragement to have fun in the kitchen cooking up tasty and wholesome meals for years to come.
