Whether you're a visitor or a local looking for something different, Kansas Off the Beaten Path shows you the Sunflower State with new perspectives on timeless destinations and introduces you to those you never knew existed.
• Attend a "twine party" in Cawker City to make the world's largest ball of twine (almost nine tons). • Go on a retreat to the Dominican Sisters' Heartland Farm and try your hand at organic gardening and holistic healing • Sample some of the twenty-eight wines produced at Smoky Hill Vineyards and Winery in Salina.
So if you've "been there, done that" one too many times, get off the main road and venture Off the Beaten Path.
